Work Experience

An essential part of the CATT program, work placements and volunteering give you the opportunity to apply your skills and knowledge in a real life tourism work situation. You may have the opportunity to try different areas and roles to see what you like best.

Global Travel & Tourism Partnership

The Canadian Academy of Travel & Tourism is a member of the Global Travel & Tourism Partnership (GTTP), a global association of educational programs and partners that introduce students to careers in travel and tourism. CATT students can connect with their peers around the world through numerous GTTP opportunities, including:

  • Global tourism competitions
  • A certificate program
  • An international conference

Student Scholarship Program

The Canadian Academy of Travel & Tourism offers scholarships to high school graduates who have earned a CATT Certificate and who are registering in a postsecondary program related to tourism.
