Teacher Internships
The Canadian Academy of Travel & Tourism seeks to connect Academy teachers with an enhanced professional development opportunity through a Teacher Internship Program. It is open to all secondary school Academy teachers and can be carried out in a variety of ways. The idea is to engage teachers in the travel & tourism industry to acquire knowledge and skills relevant to classroom teaching, adding an experiential dimension.
The Canadian Academy of Travel & Tourism Annual Conference is a gathering of Academy teachers, secondary tourism teachers, and tourism professionals to plan, discuss, share and absorb information and/or acquire new training skills.
The conference is open to all Canadian Academy of Travel & Tourism program representatives from schools and school boards, and Academy Partners.
Also invited to participate are delegates from every realm of Canada’s tourism industry and travel and tourism high school programs.
