  • September 01, 2011 - 0, 2012 Lancement du concours de photos du GTTP

    Il s’agit d’un concours international de photos numériques auquel les élèves peuvent participer. Le thème « Quelque chose de spécial » invite les participants à montrer un aspect spécial de leur communauté aux personnes qui n’y ont jamais mis les pieds. La photo doit inciter les gens à visiter la communauté. Il peut s’agir : d’un immeuble historique; d’un attrait naturel, comme un lac ou une montagne; d’un événement, comme une procession; d’une spécialité locale, comme un mets; d’une activité ou d’un sport; d’une personne ou d’un groupe de personnes.

    Limite d’une participation par élève. Trois gagnants dans chaque pays recevront chacun 100 $ et seront inscrits à la compétition internationale. Le premier prix de la compétition internationale est de 800 $. Le second est de 500 $.

  • 01/02/2012 - February 29, 2012 GTTP Research Competition Announced - Diffusion de l'informaation concernant le concours d'étude de cas du GTTP

    The topic for the GTTP Research Competition and Award is announced for the Student Teacher Conference and Case Study presentation to be held in Nice, France in November of 2013. Winning Canadian team will be chosen in January of 2013.

    L'information concernant les propositions d'étude de cas devant être soumises en janvier de la prochaine année scolaire est diffusée.

  • February 28, 2012 Deadline for GTTP Digital Photo Competition - Date limitée de participation au concours de photos du GTTP

    Deadline to submit photo entries to the Global Travel & Tourism Program (GTTP) Digital Photo Competition.

    The objectives of the competition:
    To show a special aspect of a student’s community to people who have never been there.

    What to photograph:
    Examples: it could be a historic building; a natural feature, such as a lake or mountain; an event, such as a procession; a local specialty, such as food; an activity or sport; a person or a group of people.

    Winning photos:
    Three winners in each country will each receive $100 and all three will be entered in the international competition. The first prize in the international competition is $800. Second prize is $500.

  • March 30, 2012 Deadline to enter GTTP Travel Writing Competition - Date limite de participation au concours de rédaction touristique du GTTP

    Last day for submitting essay entries for the Global Travel & Tourism Travel Writing Competition.
    The topic for 2012 is "Secret Trails of My Country"

    (exploring and exposing one or more natural, historic or cultural attractions that are often overlooked; commercial venues, such as amusement parks, are not eligible as a subject)

    Essay must be 800-1000 words in length and have 2-4 accompanying photographs supporting the essay.

  • June 01, 2012 Deadline to request CATT Certificates - Date limite des demandes d'attestation pour l'année scolairere

    Please have all names submitted of CATT students qualifying for certificates to allow sufficient time for printing/mailing so they will arrive in time to go out with report cards and/or ceremonies.
