GTTP Opportunities

The Canadian Academy of Travel & Tourism is a member of the Global Travel & Tourism Partnership (GTTP). The GTTP is a multi-country educational program which introduces students to career opportunities in travel and tourism. Students are able to participate in several opportunities which allow them to interact with their peers from other countries.
GTTP Certificate Program
Schools currently participating in the Canadian Academy of Travel & Tourism Gold program have the opportunity to offer the international GTTP certificate program. For more information, please contact the CATT office.
GTTP Research Competition & Award
Each year the Canadian Academy of Travel & Tourism holds a competition to select a case study to represent Canada at the International GTTP Student Conference. The winning school sends two students and their teacher to an international conference in Munich, Germany. Winning case studies are posted on the GTTP website and can be used by students and teachers in all GTTP-member countries.
Any CATT school can submit one entry to represent Canada at the GTTP international conference. Only one school from Canada will be selected. The Canadian representatives will be chosen by a panel after a review of all applications.
The topic for 2010 is "Green Tourism: Fad or Fact".
Applications will be made available for download in January 2010.
